Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is a self-teaching and self-learning aid of the Qur’an based on modern media platforms. It encompasses all essential aspects of Qur’anic knowledge which is obligated to every Muslim. Its usage also extends to the conventional Qur’an schools as an aid to more efficient and richer learning experience. reducing learning cycle, increasing teaching capacity, and enhancing pupils’ knowledge of the Qur’an from just being learning to recite and memorize the Qur’an to understanding the recitation (tajweed) rules, meanings of the Qur’an, and the language of the Qur’an.

Development plan

The website www.mualim-alquran.com is the first stage of the development of Mu’alim Al-Qur’an. This first stage is a web-based solution that is accessible online for free through any internet appliance like a PC/Laptop (Mac or Windows), tablets (Apple or Android) and mobile phones (iPhone or Android). In all the appliances, the screen of this web-based Mu’alim Al-Qur’an adjusts perfectly and automatically to suit the appliance’s resolution.

In the second stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a downloadable mobile application on both iPhone and Android platforms. This mobile app will be accessible offline and will enable users to access all the functionalities and content of the Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need to be online through WiFi or mobile data connectivity.

In the third stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a built-in app in a dedicated branded tablet with all its functionalities and content, thus enabling its accessibility without the need of internet connectivity. Furthermore, the tablet will be equipped with a solar charger which will allow users to access Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need of external electricity supply.

Target Audience

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is primarily intended for non-Arabic speaking Muslims who speak any of the following languages. Swahili, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The application is equally useful in self-teaching and self-learning of the Qur’an for any speakers of these languages.

Scope

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an includes the following six learning modules: (1) Foundation of Arabic alphabets, letters, and words based on standard Qaida Al-Noorania. (2) Recitation of the Qur’an word-by-word and verse-by-verse. (3) Rules of Tajweed in recitation. (4) Memorization of the Qur’an based on the standard memorization methodology of repetition and tracking progress. (5) The meaning of the Qur’an through translations. and (6) Arabic as the language of the Qur’an.

User’s Engagement

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an allows users to access the application for free through the browsers or mobile application in phones or tablets. The users have a choice to use the application anonymously without tracking their progress or by logging in with an email address and a password to keep track of their progress within a particular stage or between stages. The Imperative

The Imperative is a second-person verb used for commands, not negatives. It originates from the second person of the Jussive, dropping the prefix ta- or tu-.
The letter that follows a prefix with its own vowel is straightforward.

مُرْ, a Qur'anic verb, is written with a redundant alif, hamza, or sukun before the mim, while سَأَلَ has both forms with hamza and without hatnza.
The 4th form verb ata has some imperative forms that have an initial ha instead of hamza. In the Qur'an only the masculine plural form هَاتُوا is to be found.

Na wanasema: Tunat'ii. Lakini wanapo toka kwako kundi moja miongoni mwao hupanga njama usiku kinyume na unayo yasema. Na Mwenyezi Mungu anayaandika yote hayo wanayo yapangia njama za usiku. Basi waachilie mbali, na umtegemee Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mtegemewa wa kutosha.
وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَـٰقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُوا۟ مَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكُم بِقُوَّةٍ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
Na tulipo chukua ahadi yenu, na tukaunyanyua mlima juu yenu (tukakwambieni): Shikeni kwa nguvu haya tuliyo kupeni, na yakumbukeni yaliyomo ndani yake ili mpate kujilinda.
وَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
Na tulisema: Ewe Adam! Kaa wewe na mkeo katika Bustani, na kuleni humo maridhawa popote mpendapo, lakini msiukaribie mti huu tu; mkawa katika wale walio dhulumu.
وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا ۖ لَا نَسْـَٔلُكَ رِزْقًا ۖ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ ۗ وَٱلْعَـٰقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ
Na waamrishe watu wako kusali, na uendelee mwenyewe kwa hayo. Sisi hatukuombi wewe riziki, bali Sisi ndio tunakuruzuku. Na mwisho mwema ni kwa mchamngu.
ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا جَعَلَكُم مُّسْتَخْلَفِينَ فِيهِ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنكُمْ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
Muaminini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume wake; na toeni katika alivyo kufanyeni nyinyi kuwa ni waangalizi wake. Basi walio amini miongoni mwenu, na wakatoa, wana malipo makubwa.
بَشِّرِ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
Wabashirie wanaafiki kwamba watapata adhabu chungu,
يُوسُفُ أَعْرِضْ عَنْ هَـٰذَا ۚ وَٱسْتَغْفِرِى لِذَنۢبِكِ ۖ إِنَّكِ كُنتِ مِنَ ٱلْخَاطِـِٔينَ
Yusuf! Wachilia mbali haya. Na wewe, mwanamke, omba msamaha kwa dhambi zako. Kwa hakika wewe ni katika walio fanya makosa.
وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَأَخِيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءَا لِقَوْمِكُمَا بِمِصْرَ بُيُوتًا وَٱجْعَلُوا۟ بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Na tukampelekea Musa na ndugu yake wahyi huu: Watengenezeeni majumba watu wenu katika Misri na zifanyeni nyumba zenu ndio mwahali mwa ibada, na mshike Sala, na wabashirie Waumini.
إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا۟ حِزْبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُوا۟ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Hakika Shet'ani ni adui yenu, basi mfanyeni kuwa ni adui. Kwani yeye analiita kundi lake liwe katika watu wa Motoni.
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Hakika Sisi tulimtuma Nuh'u kwa watu wake: Uwaonye kaumu yako kabla ya kuwafikia adhabu chungu.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
Enyi mlio amini! Mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu, na kuweni pamoja na wakweli.
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
Na alipo sema Ibrahim: Ee Mola wangu Mlezi! Ufanye huu uwe mji wa amani, na uwaruzuku watu wake matunda, wale wanao muamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho. Akasema: Na mwenye kukufuru pia nitamstarehesha kidogo, kisha nitamsukumiza kwenye adhabu ya Moto, napo ni pahala pabaya mno pa kurejea.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعْتُمْ فِى شَىْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا
Enyi mlio amini! Mt'iini Mwenyezi Mungu, na mt'iini Mtume na wenye madaraka katika nyinyi. Na mkizozana katika jambo basi lirudisheni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume, ikiwa mnamuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Siku ya Mwisho. Hayo ndiyo bora zaidi na ndiyo yenye mwisho mwema.
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ ۖ ٱئْتُونِى بِكِتَـٰبٍ مِّن قَبْلِ هَـٰذَآ أَوْ أَثَـٰرَةٍ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
Je! Mwawaona wale mnao waomba badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu? Nionyesheni wameumba nini katika ardhi; au hao wanayo shirika katika mbingu? Nileteeni Kitabu kilicho kuwa kabla ya hiki, au alama yoyote ya ilimu, ikiwa mnasema kweli.
قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ
Simama uonye!
وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ
Na taabu inapo mfikia mtu humwomba Mola wake Mlezi naye ameelekea kwake. Kisha akimpa neema kutoka kwake, husahau yale aliyo kuwa akimwitia zamani, na akamfanyia Mwenyezi Mungu washirika ili apoteze watu njia yake. Sema: Starehe na ukafiri wako kwa muda mchache. Kwani hakika wewe utakuwa miongoni mwa watu wa Motoni.
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرْنِى عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
Akasema: Ewe Mola wangu Mlezi! Ninusuru na watu mafisadi hawa!
فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ قَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَـٰعَةٍ مُّزْجَىٰةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا ٱلْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
Basi walipo ingia kwa Yusuf walisema: Ewe Mheshimiwa! Imetupata shida, sisi na watu wetu. Na tumeleta mali kidogo. Basi tupimie kipimo na fanya kama unatupa sadaka. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu huwalipa watoao sadaka.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَـٰتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَآ ۗ أَفَمَن يُلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلنَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّن يَأْتِىٓ ءَامِنًا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ ٱعْمَلُوا۟ مَا شِئْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Hakika wale wanao upotoa ukweli uliomo katika Ishara zetu hawatufichikii Sisi. Je! Atakaye tupwa Motoni ni bora au atakaye kuja kwa amani Siku ya Kiyama? Tendeni mpendavyo, kwa hakika Yeye anayaona mnayo yatenda.
فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
Basi haikuwa jawabu ya watu wake ila ni kusema: Wafukuzeni wafwasi wa Lut'i katika mji wenu. Hao ni watu wanao jitia usafi.
وَإِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوا۟ بِسُورَةٍ مِّن مِّثْلِهِۦ وَٱدْعُوا۟ شُهَدَآءَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
Na ikiwa mna shaka kwa hayo tuliyo mteremshia mja wetu basi leteni sura moja ya mfano wake, na muwaite mashahidi wenu badala ya Mwenyezi Mungu, ikiwa mnasema kweli.
ٱلَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّىٰهُمُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ ۙ يَقُولُونَ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
Wale ambao Malaika huwafisha katika hali njema, wanawaambia: Amani iwe juu yenu! Ingieni Peponi kwa sababu ya yale mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
Sema: Mt'iini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume. Na wakigeuka basi Mwenyezi Mungu hawapendi makafiri.
وَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱهْجُرْهُمْ هَجْرًا جَمِيلًا
Na vumilia hayo wayasemayo, na jitenge nao kwa vizuri.
قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ بَدَأَ ٱلْخَلْقَ ۚ ثُمَّ ٱللَّهُ يُنشِئُ ٱلنَّشْأَةَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Sema: Tembeeni katika ardhi na tazameni jinsi alivyo anzisha uumbaji; kisha Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye anaye umba umbo la baadaye. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza juu ya kila kitu.
