Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is a self-teaching and self-learning aid of the Qur’an based on modern media platforms. It encompasses all essential aspects of Qur’anic knowledge which is obligated to every Muslim. Its usage also extends to the conventional Qur’an schools as an aid to more efficient and richer learning experience. reducing learning cycle, increasing teaching capacity, and enhancing pupils’ knowledge of the Qur’an from just being learning to recite and memorize the Qur’an to understanding the recitation (tajweed) rules, meanings of the Qur’an, and the language of the Qur’an.

Development plan

The website www.mualim-alquran.com is the first stage of the development of Mu’alim Al-Qur’an. This first stage is a web-based solution that is accessible online for free through any internet appliance like a PC/Laptop (Mac or Windows), tablets (Apple or Android) and mobile phones (iPhone or Android). In all the appliances, the screen of this web-based Mu’alim Al-Qur’an adjusts perfectly and automatically to suit the appliance’s resolution.

In the second stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a downloadable mobile application on both iPhone and Android platforms. This mobile app will be accessible offline and will enable users to access all the functionalities and content of the Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need to be online through WiFi or mobile data connectivity.

In the third stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a built-in app in a dedicated branded tablet with all its functionalities and content, thus enabling its accessibility without the need of internet connectivity. Furthermore, the tablet will be equipped with a solar charger which will allow users to access Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need of external electricity supply.

Target Audience

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is primarily intended for non-Arabic speaking Muslims who speak any of the following languages. Swahili, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The application is equally useful in self-teaching and self-learning of the Qur’an for any speakers of these languages.

Scope

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an includes the following six learning modules: (1) Foundation of Arabic alphabets, letters, and words based on standard Qaida Al-Noorania. (2) Recitation of the Qur’an word-by-word and verse-by-verse. (3) Rules of Tajweed in recitation. (4) Memorization of the Qur’an based on the standard memorization methodology of repetition and tracking progress. (5) The meaning of the Qur’an through translations. and (6) Arabic as the language of the Qur’an.

User’s Engagement

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an allows users to access the application for free through the browsers or mobile application in phones or tablets. The users have a choice to use the application anonymously without tracking their progress or by logging in with an email address and a password to keep track of their progress within a particular stage or between stages. The Declension of Nouns

Arabic has nominative, accusative, and genitive cases.
  • Nominative is used for subject and predicates in non-verbal sentences.
  • Genitive denotes possession after prepositions.
  • Accusative is used when nominative or genitive cannot be used.

Lessons N0. 1 and Lesson No. 2 use nominatives, Lesson No. 4 introduce genitive, Lesson No. 8 introduce accusative.

FORM S OF DECLENSION
Declension types include five, with sub-divisions and special forms for feminine and masculine plural. Learning these types in tables helps structure knowledge.

Type One words have three case endings and two, requiring definite articles for adjectives.

Notes on pronouns:
  • Plural forms refer to individuals.
  • أَنَا and نَحْنُ are masculine or feminine, more commonly used for males, but ana refers to a woman in 11:72-12:51.
  • Third feminine singular form هِيَ means 'they', referring to broken plurals of nouns not denoting males.

Na Ibrahim akawausia wanawe, na pia Yaaqub: Enyi wanangu! Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu amekuteulieni Dini hii; basi msife ila nanyi mmekuwa Waislamu, wanyenyekevu.
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
Wala huwezi kuwaongoa vipofu waache upotovu wao. Huwezi kuwafanya wasikie isipo kuwa wenye kuziamini Ishara zetu; na hao ndio wat'iifu.
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَـٰنُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَـٰرُوتَ وَمَـٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا۟ لَمَنِ ٱشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَـٰقٍ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ
Na wakafuata yale waliyo zua mashet'ani kuuzulia ufalme wa Su leiman. Na wala Suleiman hakukufuru, bali mashet'ani ndio walio kufuru, wakiwafundisha watu uchawi, na yaliyo teremshwa kwa Malaika wawili, Haaruta na Maaruta katika Baabil. Wala hao hawakumfundisha yeyote mpaka wamwambie: Hakika sisi ni mtihani; basi usikufuru. Wakajifunza kwa hao wawili yale ya kumfarikisha mtu na mkewe. Wala hawawezi kumdhuru mtu ila kwa kutaka Mwenyezi Mungu. Na wanajifunza yatayo wadhuru wala hayawanufaishi. Na hakika wanajua kwamba aliye khiari haya hatakuwa na fungu lolote katika Akhera. Na hakika ni kiovu mno walicho jiuzia nafsi zao laiti wangelijua.
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
Na walisema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa Ishara kutoka kwa Mola wake Mlezi? Sema: Ishara ziko kwake Mwenyezi Mungu; ama mimi kwa hakika ni mwonyaji mwenye kubainisha tu.
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
Katika Bustani ya juu,
رَبَّنَا وَٱجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Ewe Mola Mlezi wetu! Tujaalie tuwe ni wenye kusilimu kwako, na pia miongoni mwa vizazi vyetu wawe umma ulio silimu kwako. Na utuonyeshe njia za ibada yetu na utusamehe. Bila shaka Wewe ndiye Mwenye kusamehe Mwenye kurehemu.
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَـٰلِمُونَ
Na alikufikieni Musa na hoja zilizo waziwazi, kisha mkamchukua ndama (kumuabudu) baada yake, na mkawa wenye kudhulumu.
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
Enyi watu! Nyinyi ndio wenye haja kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kujitosha, Msifiwa.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَهِىَ ظَـٰلِمَةٌ ۚ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ
Na ndio kama hivyo ndivyo inavyo kuwa Mola wako Mlezi anapo ikamata miji inapo kuwa imedhulumu. Hakika mkamato wake ni mchungu na mkali.
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Mwenye kutenda mema, mwanamume au mwanamke, naye akawa ni Muumini, tutamhuisha maisha mema; na tutawapa ujira wao kwa bora ya waliyo kuwa wakiyatenda.
أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
Asijue aliye umba, naye ndiye Mjua siri, Mwenye khabari?
وَإِن فَاتَكُمْ شَىْءٌ مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَـَٔاتُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتْ أَزْوَٰجُهُم مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنتُم بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنُونَ
Na akitoroka yeyote katika wake zenu kwenda kwa makafiri, tena ikatokea mkapata ngawira, basi wapeni walio kimbiwa na wake zao kiasi cha mahari waliyo yatoa. Na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye mnamuamini.
يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Ewe Musa! Hakika Mimi ndiye Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu, Mwenye hikima.
وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ
Na akatoa mkono wake, mara ukawa mweupe kwa watazamao.
وَيُسَبِّحُ ٱلرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِۦ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِۦ وَيُرْسِلُ ٱلصَّوَٰعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَن يَشَآءُ وَهُمْ يُجَـٰدِلُونَ فِى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْمِحَالِ
Na radi inamtakasa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa kumhimidi, na Malaika pia, kwa kumkhofu. Naye hupeleka mapigo ya radi yakampata amtakaye. Nao wanabishana juu ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Na Yeye ni Mwenye adhabu kali!
إِن تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ ۖ وَإِن تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
Ukiwaadhibu basi hao ni waja wako. Na ukiwasamehe basi Wewe ndiye Mwenye nguvu na Mwenye hikima.
فَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَانَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلْنَـٰهُ نِعْمَةً مِّنَّا قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍۭ ۚ بَلْ هِىَ فِتْنَةٌ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Na dhara inapo mgusa mtu hutuomba. Kisha tunapo mpa neema zitokazo kwetu, husema: Nimepewa haya kwa sababu ya ilimu yangu. Sio! Huo ni mtihani! Lakini wengi wao hawajui!
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعْضَ مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَضَآئِقٌۢ بِهِۦ صَدْرُكَ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ كَنزٌ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُۥ مَلَكٌ ۚ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ نَذِيرٌ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَكِيلٌ
Basi labda utaacha baadhi ya yale yaliyo funuliwa kwako, na kifua kitaona dhiki kwa hayo, kwa sababu wanasema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa khazina, au wakaja naye Malaika? Wewe ni mwonyaji tu, na Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mlinzi wa kila kitu.
قَالَ هَلْ عَلِمْتُم مَّا فَعَلْتُم بِيُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ إِذْ أَنتُمْ جَـٰهِلُونَ
Akasema: Je! Mmejua mliyo mfanyia Yusuf na nduguye mlipo kuwa wajinga?
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ وَبَيَّنُوا۟ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
Ila wale walio tubu na wakatengeneza na wakabainisha, basi hao nitapokea toba yao, na Mimi ni Mwenye kupokea toba na Mwenye kurehemu.
