Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is a self-teaching and self-learning aid of the Qur’an based on modern media platforms. It encompasses all essential aspects of Qur’anic knowledge which is obligated to every Muslim. Its usage also extends to the conventional Qur’an schools as an aid to more efficient and richer learning experience. reducing learning cycle, increasing teaching capacity, and enhancing pupils’ knowledge of the Qur’an from just being learning to recite and memorize the Qur’an to understanding the recitation (tajweed) rules, meanings of the Qur’an, and the language of the Qur’an.

Development plan

The website www.mualim-alquran.com is the first stage of the development of Mu’alim Al-Qur’an. This first stage is a web-based solution that is accessible online for free through any internet appliance like a PC/Laptop (Mac or Windows), tablets (Apple or Android) and mobile phones (iPhone or Android). In all the appliances, the screen of this web-based Mu’alim Al-Qur’an adjusts perfectly and automatically to suit the appliance’s resolution.

In the second stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a downloadable mobile application on both iPhone and Android platforms. This mobile app will be accessible offline and will enable users to access all the functionalities and content of the Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need to be online through WiFi or mobile data connectivity.

In the third stage Mu’alim Al-Qur’an will be developed to a built-in app in a dedicated branded tablet with all its functionalities and content, thus enabling its accessibility without the need of internet connectivity. Furthermore, the tablet will be equipped with a solar charger which will allow users to access Mu’alim Al-Qur’an without the need of external electricity supply.

Target Audience

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an is primarily intended for non-Arabic speaking Muslims who speak any of the following languages. Swahili, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The application is equally useful in self-teaching and self-learning of the Qur’an for any speakers of these languages.

Scope

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an includes the following six learning modules: (1) Foundation of Arabic alphabets, letters, and words based on standard Qaida Al-Noorania. (2) Recitation of the Qur’an word-by-word and verse-by-verse. (3) Rules of Tajweed in recitation. (4) Memorization of the Qur’an based on the standard memorization methodology of repetition and tracking progress. (5) The meaning of the Qur’an through translations. and (6) Arabic as the language of the Qur’an.

User’s Engagement

Mu’alim Al-Qur’an allows users to access the application for free through the browsers or mobile application in phones or tablets. The users have a choice to use the application anonymously without tracking their progress or by logging in with an email address and a password to keep track of their progress within a particular stage or between stages. THE SISTERS OF kana:
Arabic has many verbs that behave similarly to kana, however لَيْسَ, مَا زَالَ, ظَلَّ, مَا دَامَ, and أَصْبَحَ are important.
مَا زَالَ
مَا زَالَ, imperfect لَا يَزَالُ or مَا يَزَالُ, means 'not to cease', i.e. 'to continue':
مَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍ
 you continued to be in doubt
لَا يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ
 they will continue to fight you
لَا يَزَالُونَ مُخْتَلِفِينَ
 they continue to differ
ظَلَّ
ظَلَّ means to continue', some time with one lam, and two shorter forms, ظَلْتَ and ظَلْتُمْ, are found in the Qur'an.
نَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ
we remain devoted to them
ظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ
 you would continue to jest
مَا دَامَ
مَا دَامَ is a special use of ma, meaning 'as long as', requiring a perfect verb. It is found in the Qur'an and may mean 'as long as' elsewhere.
مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
as long as I remain alive
مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَائِمًا
 as long as you stand over him
أَصْبَحَ
Asbaha means 'to do in the morning or to be in the morning and become.
أَصْبَحُوا خَاسِرِينَ
 they became losers
أَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
 in the morning they were crouching in their dwellings
كَادَ
The verb kdda is allied to the sisters of kana. In the positive it means 'almost.
كَادُوا يَقْتُلُونَنِي
they almost killed me
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ
 the heavens are almost torn asunder

They are used in the perfect and followed by another verb in the imperfect, signify 'he began to' and are divided into two groups.
a. بَدَأَ, شَرَعَ and طَفِقَ meaning is 'to begin'. Only tafiqa occurs in the Qur'an.
طَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنْ وَرَقِ اَلْجَنَّةِ
 The two of them began to cover themselves with the leaves of paradise.
b. The Qur'an only contains one verb, asbaha, which has a different meaning than أَخَذَ and جَعَلَ, which are 'to begin'.
أَصْبَحَ يُقَلِبُ كَفَّيْهِ
 in the morning he began wringing his hands
لَوْلَا, functions in two ways:
a. It means 'why not.
لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِهِ
 Why has not a sign from his Lord been sent down to him?
لَّوْلَا جَاءُوا عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ
 Why did they not produce four witnesses against it?
لَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
 Why are you not reminded?
b. law-la also means 'but for.
لَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِي
but for the blessing of my Lord
لَوْلَا رِجَالٌ مُّؤْمِنُونَ
 but for believing men

وَلَا يَزَالُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيمٍ
Na walio kufuru hawatoacha kuwa katika wasiwasi kwa hilo mpaka Saa iwafikie ghafla, au iwafikie adhabu ya Siku Tasa.
فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَـٰمِدِينَ
Hakikuacha hicho kuwa kilio chao mpaka tukawafanya kama walio fyekwa, wamezimika.
فَبِمَا نَقْضِهِم مِّيثَـٰقَهُمْ لَعَنَّـٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَا قُلُوبَهُمْ قَـٰسِيَةً ۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلْكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ ۙ وَنَسُوا۟ حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَىٰ خَآئِنَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِّنْهُمْ ۖ فَٱعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَٱصْفَحْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Basi kwa sababu ya kuvunja agano lao tuliwalaani, na tukazifanya nyoyo zao kuwa ngumu. Wanayabadilisha maneno kutoka pahala pake, na wamesahau sehemu ya yale waliyo kumbushwa. Na huachi kuvumbua khiana kutokana nao, isipo kuwa wachache miongoni mwao. Basi wasamehe na waache. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu huwapenda wafanyao wema.
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Na mmoja wao akibashiriwa kwa msichana, uso wake unasawijika, naye kajaa chuki.
لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ حُطَـٰمًا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُونَ
Tungeli taka tungeli yafanya yakawa mapepe, mkabaki mnastaajabu,
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَظَلُّوا۟ فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
Na lau tungeli wafungulia mlango wa mbingu, wakawa wanapanda,
قَالُوا۟ يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَآ أَبَدًا مَّا دَامُوا۟ فِيهَا ۖ فَٱذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَـٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَـٰهُنَا قَـٰعِدُونَ
Wakasema: Ewe Musa! Sisi hatutaingia humo kamwe maadamu wao wamo humo. Basi nenda wewe na Mola wako Mlezi mkapigane. Sisi tutakaa hapa hapa.
أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُۥ مَتَـٰعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ۖ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا ۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
Nyinyi mmehalalishiwa kuvua vinyama vya baharini na kuvila, kwa faida yenu na kwa wasafiri. Na mmeharimishiwa mawindo ya wanyama wa bara maadamu mmeharimia Hija. Na mcheni Mwenyezi Mungu ambaye mtakusanywa kwake.
مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَمَرْتَنِى بِهِۦٓ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ ۚ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِى كُنتَ أَنتَ ٱلرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
Sikuwaambia lolote ila uliyo niamrisha, nayo ni: Muabuduni Mwenyezi Mungu, Mola wangu Mlezi na Mola wenu Mlezi. Na mimi nilikuwa shahidi juu yao nilipo kuwa nao. Na ulipo nifisha ukawa Wewe ndiye Muangalizi juu yao. Na Wewe ni shahidi juu ya kila kitu.
فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ نَـٰدِمِينَ
Lakini wakamuuwa, na wakawa wenye kujuta.
وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
Na shikamaneni kwa Kamba ya Mwenyezi Mungu nyote pamoja, wala msifarikiane. Na kumbukeni neema ya Mwenyezi Mungu iliyo juu yenu: vile mlivyo kuwa nyinyi kwa nyinyi maadui naye akaziunganisha nyoyo zenu; kwa neema yake mkawa ndugu. Na mlikuwa ukingoni mwa shimo la Moto, naye akakuokoeni nalo. Namna hivi Mwenyezi Mungu anakubainishieni Ishara zake ili mpate kuongoka.
وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَىٰكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
Basi hiyo dhana yenu mliyo kuwa mkimdhania Mola wenu Mlezi. Imekuangamizeni; na mmekuwa miongoni mwa walio khasiri.
يَكَادُ ٱلْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ أَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أَضَآءَ لَهُم مَّشَوْا۟ فِيهِ وَإِذَآ أَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوا۟ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَأَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Unakaribia umeme kunyakua macho yao. Kila ukiwatolea mwangaza huenda, na unapo wafanyia giza husimama. Na angelitaka Mwenyezi Mungu angeliondoa kusikia kwao na kuona kwao. Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni Muweza wa kila kitu.
ٱللَّهُ نُورُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِۦ كَمِشْكَوٰةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ ٱلْمِصْبَاحُ فِى زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ ٱلزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّىٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِىٓءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِى ٱللَّهُ لِنُورِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Mwenyezi Mungu ni Nuru ya Mbingu na Ardhi. Mfano wa Nuru yake ni kama shubaka lenye kuwekwa ndani yake taa. Taa ile imo katika tungi. Tungi lile ni kama nyota inayo meremeta, inayo washwa kwa mafuta yanayo toka katika mti ulio barikiwa, mzaituni. Si wa mashariki wala magharibi. Yanakaribia mafuta yake kung'aa wenyewe ingawa moto haujayagusa - Nuru juu ya Nuru. Mwenyezi Mungu humwongoa kwenye Nuru yake amtakaye. Na Mwenyezi Mungu huwapigia watu mifano. Na Mwenyezi Mungu ni Mwenye kujua kila kitu.
أَمْ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ
Au mimi si bora kuliko huyu aliye mnyonge, wala hawezi kusema waziwazi?
أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُوا۟ يُدْرِككُّمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنتُمْ فِى بُرُوجٍ مُّشَيَّدَةٍ ۗ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ حَسَنَةٌ يَقُولُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَقُولُوا۟ هَـٰذِهِۦ مِنْ عِندِكَ ۚ قُلْ كُلٌّ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ فَمَالِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلْقَوْمِ لَا يَكَادُونَ يَفْقَهُونَ حَدِيثًا
Popote mlipo mauti yatakufikieni, na hata mkiwa katika ngome zilizo na nguvu. Na likiwafikilia jema wanasema: Hili limetoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu. Na likiwafikilia ovu wanasema: Hili limetoka kwako wewe. Sema: Yote yanatokana na Mwenyezi Mungu. Basi wana nini watu hawa hata hawakaribii kufahamu maneno?
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ لَوْلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا ٱللَّهُ أَوْ تَأْتِينَآ ءَايَةٌ ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۘ تَشَـٰبَهَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
Na walisema wale wasio jua kitu: Mbona Mwenyezi Mungu hasemi nasi au zikatufikia Ishara. Kama hivyo walisema wale walio kuwa kabla yao mfano wa kauli yao hii. Nyoyo zao zimefanana. Hakika Sisi tumeziweka wazi Ishara kwa watu wenye yakini.
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ ۖ وَلَوْ أَنزَلْنَا مَلَكًا لَّقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ثُمَّ لَا يُنظَرُونَ
Na wao husema: Mbona hakuteremshiwa Malaika? Na kama tungeli teremsha Malaika, basi bila ya shaka ingesha hukumiwa amri, tena hapo wasingeli pewa muhula.
وَلَوْ أَنَّآ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهُم بِعَذَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَايَـٰتِكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزَىٰ
Na lau kuwa tuliwaangamiza kwa adhabu kabla yake, wangeli sema: Ewe Mola wetu Mlezi! Kwa nini usituletee Mtume tukazifuata ishara zako kabla hatujadhilika na kuhizika.
لَوْ نَشَآءُ جَعَلْنَـٰهُ أُجَاجًا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ
Tungeli penda tungeli yafanya ya chumvi. Basi mbona hamshukuru?
قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ ۖ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
Akasema: Enyi watu wangu! Kwa nini mnauhimiza uwovu kabla ya wema? Kwa nini hamuombi msamaha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ili mrehemewe?
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَكُنتُم مِّنَ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
Kisha mligeuka baada ya haya. Na lau kuwa si fadhila za Mwenyezi Mungu juu yenu na rehema zake, mngeli kuwa miongoni mwa wenye kukhasirika.
لَّوْلَا كِتَـٰبٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَآ أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ
Lau isingeli kuwa hukumu iliyo kwisha tangulia kutoka kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ingeli kupateni adhabu kubwa kwa vile mlivyo chukua.
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Na wanakuhimiza waletewe adhabu kwa haraka. Na lau kuwa hapana wakati maalumu ulio wekwa, basi adhabu ingeli wajia, na ingeli watokea kwa ghafla, na hali wao hawana khabari.
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ
Na lau kuwa si neema ya Mola wangu Mlezi bila ya shaka ningeli kuwa miongoni mwa walio hudhurishwa.
